Solar water heating systems (also known as Solar Thermal) are a renewable energy source that harness free heat from the sun by capturing radiated energy within solar panels or collectors to heat domestic water. The system is made up of high efficiency vacuum tubes as heat collectors and an insulted tank. The insulation ensues that the water stays hot for a long period of time.
