BENEFITS OF SOLAR
Energy independence
Generate your own, free electricity gaining control and cutting your bills. With solar, you can secure predictable electricity costs for years to come.
Save money and control of energy costs
Solar costs less than electricity from the grid, so you can save on your power bills. While utility rates can rise unpredictably, use of solar lets customers secure low, predictable solar energy rates for years to come thus saving money on monthly energy bills.
Environmental Carbon foot print.
We aim to make a meaningful difference in the fight against climate change through widespread adoption of clean solar electricity generated by our installations. For every unit of solar electricity generated, there is a corresponding amount of carbon that has been prevented from being released into the atmosphere.
Solar panels capture the sun’s energy and convert it to electricity for your home or business.
Our sun is a natural nuclear reactor. It releases tiny packets of energy called photons, which travel the 93 million miles from the sun to Earth in about 8.5 minutes. Every hour, enough photons impact our planet to generate enough solar energy to theoretically satisfy global energy needs for an entire year.
HOW IT WORKS
- Daylight hits the cells on the solar panels and is converted to direct current (DC) energy.
- This DC energy travels to an electrical device called an inverter, which converts DC energy into alternating current (AC) energy.
- The AC electricity produced is just like the power supplied by your utility company, and can go directly to power all your household appliances and lights.
- Or the power produced can be exported back to the grid and redistributed locally.
- You can monitor your system’s performance over the web or, for a small additional charge, via a dedicated display.
