Grid tied system
This is a semi autonomous solar energy system that generates electricity for a home or business and is linked to the main grid (KPLC).
How it Works
The facility business/home draws energy from solar panels. At time when the solar panels are not producing at full capacity, the facility draws energy from the main grid.
If more energy than needed is generated by the solar panels, the excess energy is fed to utility (with an option of selling or banking)
Batteries with an inverter charger can be added to provide minimal storage for backup during grid failure.
